History of The Irish Inn
The Property
The Property was built in the middle of what used to be a large pear orchard but now sits in the middle of a 1-acre parcel adorning the view of Mt Adams and the Columbia River Gorge. The property was designed so that every room could enjoy the uninterrupted view of Mt Adams and the Columbia River. Surrounded by lawns and gardens and centrally located it is a perfect spot to relax and walk down town to local restaurants and events.

Your Hosts
David and I have a passion for traveling and met while working remodeling World Class Cruise ships. We have traveled around the world several times but have yet to find a better place to call home than Hood River. We have two children, Eli & Alecia, and we love the recreational options we have at our doorstep.
Having grown up in a hotel and then working and training in the hospitably industry working on only the best cruise ships in the world, we know how to exceed our guests’ expectations. We know what we like, and we make sure our guests have what they like to enjoy their stay.
